BL.Predict at the Manufacturing IT/OT Summit Berlin

From September 28 to 30, the BLPredict team was in Berlin to take part in the Manufacturing IT/OT Summit 2025, a major event for European players in industrial transformation. Against a backdrop where industry is stepping up its demands for security, continuity and agility, the summit confirmed a development that is now unavoidable: the boundary between IT (management information systems) and OT (operational technologies) is gradually disappearing.

Things to remember

Our presence at this event enabled us to compare our vision with German and international market standards, particularly in terms of IT/OT convergence and industrial system resilience.

IT/OT convergence: European momentum confirmed

Discussions on site highlighted a shared observation: to remain competitive, manufacturers need to guarantee a fluid and secure flow of information, from the machine to decision-making systems. This convergence, now at the heart of industrial modernization strategies, requires architectures capable of absorbing the growing complexity of operations.

Event-Driven Architecture: a prerequisite for plant responsiveness

During the technical sessions, the BLPredict team was able to illustrate a key point: a plant’s responsiveness depends directly on the fluidity of its data.
Discussions around Smart Logistics, dynamic piloting and real-time management confirmed the relevance of an Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) approach.
Designed for real time, BLPredict’s architecture is fully in line with this requirement for responsiveness and operational adaptability.

Resilience through data: a challenge shared at European level

In addition to operational performance, discussions focused on the robustness of industrial systems. Exchanges with IoT cybersecurity experts and network architects present in Berlin reinforced an essential observation:
today, predictive maintenance is one of the key resilience levers for guaranteeing business continuity.
